Siveco Group, Capgemini and Bull have collaborated to implement the Port of Le Havre project.

COSWIN 7i will replace another software which was obsolete and will manage the maintenance of the installations and facilities of the port: goods handling tools, refrigerated warehouses, car fleet, bridges and navigational locks, ship repairing tools, electric network, data communications network. These equipments are supported and operated by various services of the Port of Le Havre authority. COSWIN 7i will be deployed on the Oracle platform and integrated into the Port Management Information System. It will be interfaced with the other core systems, i.e SAP, and HR Access a software to manage human resources.

About the Port of Le Havre….

Le Havre is the leading French port for foreign trade and for container traffic with nearly 2, 1 million TEU in 2005, or more than 60% of all the containers handled in French ports. 40% of all French crude oil passes through Le Havre. It is the 5th largest port in Europe, processing 75, 2 million tons of cargo each year. The port calls by 6,965 ships in 2005. The Port of Le Havre Authority is in charge of works of extension and improvement, structure renewal and rebuilding, infrastructures (berths, platforms, bridges, navigational locks…) and superstructures (handling equipment…).
