Release of Coswin 7i.5.0 CMMS

Siveco Group, a specialist in the conception and development of maintenance and asset management software announce that Coswin version 7i.5.0 will be available in April 2010. This event represents a significant stage in the development of the original software and constitutes the foundations of important
new functionalities currently in development.

For over two years now, Siveco Group has been working to make a CMMS system that is more convivial, more innovative and above all, more efficient to the user who is working with the software.

Coswin version 7i.5.0 adheres to this policy. Less constraints, more flexibility and a more intuitive way use combined with direct information to the user. Here are a few words on the policies that have been adopted.

In other words, Coswin 7i.5.0 offers the following additional capabilities:

STOCKS

Management of Lump Sum Contract Items integrated into the full purchase process;

MAINTENANCE

A more comprehensive management of statuses and conformities for equipment and assets;
Full support for contract validity checks on maintenance transactions;
New visual indicators in the equipment structure module;
Facilitated administration of new works projects and annual shutdowns;
A more precise management of maintenance actions to be carried out on a work order;
A new module for managing rounds that interacts with the other maintenance modules;
A complete management of versioning of jobs and configurations of maintenance policies: definition of repositories, tracking inheritance of values and more;

PURCHASES

New functionalities for treating purchase orders in bulk;
An improved method of advancement through the different stages of invoicing;

DIVERSES

New methods available for filtering data;
Further automation of administration of the CMMS reducing the amount of human input needed for it;

Many man-months have gone into the development of elaborations for this new version. The validation process is now underway with various Siveco departments carrying out tests. Laurent Cretot, the manager of the Product Team has announced that from April, a pre-release version will be made available to our partners for beta testing before the final version of 7.5 is made available to our clients.
