| The year 2009 has been a year strongly marked by the global economic and financial crisis. Although less than other sectors, the CMMS sector was also affected by the crisis. During the 1st quarter, and to some extent in the 2nd quarter as well, Siveco experienced the evident reluctance of companies to invest. However, in the 2nd half of 2009, things picked up rapidly and Siveco ended the 4th quarter with orders 33% higher than in the same period of 2008. This momentum has favoured the emergence of some large projects both in France and abroad and despite the global economic environment we retain our position as the European leader in the CMMS market.
This generally positive situation for our group has enabled us to pursue and achieve a strategic shift that was begun in 2007 when Siveco was given a new direction, a new organisation and new ambitions. Between the global crisis and strategic change, we have overcome many challenges in 2008. It was very exciting and we are stronger now because of it. We have never ceased to adapt to market changes, to optimise our organisation and to innovate.
2009 has also been an important year for strengthening our foundations, particularly through the increased participation of Mr Quintin Thom, the founder of the company and majority shareholder. |

This development is reflected in the new composition of the Board of Directors. Today, Quintin Thom, the originator of the Coswin software, takes on the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors. The operational management of the company is also strengthened by the nomination of Frederic Boutier as Chief Operating Officer.
Finally, the last year has been marked by the acquisition of forty new clients, many of whom have service contracts and by the implementation of several technologically unique solutions: The Alma project in the Astronomical Observation sector, the DCNS project in the Naval Defence sector and the Carrefour project which will see Coswin deployed across more than 800 sites over the course of 2010.
These successes demonstrate a great level of confidence and our commitment over the last 23 years, in sectors as diverse as health, energy, defence, food, automotives, services, aeronautics…
We now have over 1,500 customers in 65 countries. The orders received so far in the 1stquarter and the major product innovations that are being made by the group confirm the trend seen at the end of 2009 and indicate that 2010 will be a very promising year for us. This success gives me confidence that Siveco Group will benefit from a profit of at least 10% of its 2010 turnover.
Our strong commitment to R&D allows us to focus on the market for major product innovations. We have also equipped Coswin with many new features that have been much anticipated by our clients.
However, the main event in the Siveco News that will further optimise our expertise with our clients is without doubt the conception and launch of Mtv (for www.maintenance.tv), this innovation will revolutionise CMMS.
