Zoom on the Services Department

There are 13 members of staff who make up the Services Department which is managed by Pierre Brunet and Davy Henri. All are expert in Coswin functionalities and configuration techniques. Their work consists of the deployment of solutions developed by Siveco Group.

 

The team is made up of pre-sales staff, technical architects, project managers and consultants.

 

The Services Department is there to offer advice and guidance to clients in terms of the most suitable solution for their business, the direction and scope of their CMMS project, and to assist with the implementation of large projects.

 

The length of a project varies depending on the need. A project could require as little as 15 days, for an installation of Coswin Light for example but could also exceed 300 days for an implementation over a large infrastructure.

 

The Department’s activities are varied, covering audits, technical and functional advice, project management, training, set-up and interfacing of existing software.

 

The service offers three types of training adapted to the client’s needs and the phase of the project. Standard training covers the general functionalities of Coswin 7i giving and quick start introduction to the solution. Personalised training covers specific modules and functionalities in more detail. Administrator training covers database admin and management of users.

 

Leadership qualities, analytical capabilities and a good sense of client service are all important skills that are used daily by Services Department’s experts.

 

In 2009 the Services activities represented 2191 days of services. This is an increase of 12.4% on 2008. They also achieved nearly 500 days of internal training on new functionalities and specifics and on documentation.

 

For 2010 the Services Department has made the development of E-Training facilities a priority.
