The location of Liege Airport, located in Bierset, centre of the quadrangle Paris-Amsterdam-Frankfurt-London is ideal for the handling of merchandise in transit between 36 European countries as well as the United-States and Asia. The first European Airport to focus its strategy on freight development, Liege Airport has climbed to the top 30 of the most important freight airports of the world, ranked sixtieth in 2006 to twenty-fourth in 2007.
