Siveco Group : 25 years of ‘savoir-faire’ in CMMS
Paris, March 11th, 2011
Siveco Group celebrates its 25 years of existence, signs new contracts and makes technological innovations!
Created by Quintin Thom and now directed by Thierry Hoffait, the French CMMS software vendor is also established internationally. Siveco Group traverses its quarter of century with a continually growing market and proposing technical innovation.
The 4th March 1986, Siveco France SA revolutionised the industrial maintenance world by taking an early lead in the French CMMS market. At that time the software vendor proposed Cosman software, before developing in 1994 the first Coswin, version, renamed in 1998 Coswin C/S, with a client/server architecture. A French Pioneer of the full web offering in the maintenance field, Siveco innovated and launched in 2003 the first native internet version of Coswin 7i.
True to its values and those of its founder Quintin Thom, Siveco Group is today one of the French benchmarks in supplying CMMS and EAM products. The company manages over 82000 users spread across 2500 client sites. It develops tailor-made services for its customers and is committed in terms of innovation. ” 2011 is not only an important step in the history of Siveco, the year of our quarter of century, but also the beginning of a new era, rich in new challenges for the company. We are highlighting our 25 years of success and our long-term commitment to offer customised CMMS solutions deploying new technologies “, underlines Thierry Hoffait, General Director of Siveco Group.
Proof of the software vendor’s ability to secure the loyalty of its clients are the first customers where collaboration has never stopped: Ascométal, Air France, Journal Sud Ouest, Lesieur (groupe Saipol), Renault, Airbus (EADS) and CNES in Kourou. Twenty five years of continual development for the group and customers: Arjo Wiggins, DCNS, BNF, European Parliament, Ipiranga, Carrefour, ESO, Areva, Vicat, ‘Armée de l’Air’, ‘le Havre’ General Hospital, ’Alger Airport, etc.
European leader
Siveco entered the European market via the United Kingdom in 1991 and established its first subsidiary in Hampshire in the south of the country. Since this first European office, the group has never ceased to gain market share. In 1997 the second subsidiary in Italy was successfully launched, allowing Siveco to reach the position of a major player in the European CMMS market.
More recently the opening of Siveco Benelux in February 2011 brings the total to four companies distributed across Western Europe: France, Italy, the United Kingdom, and Belgium. Beyond its own subsidiaries, the group has established partnerships with distributors in Europe, notably in Spain, Greece and Portugal.
Today the European market is strategic for the group which aims to accelerate its growth and enhance its visibility.
International participation
The company prospers in emerging markets such as Brasil, where its partner since 2007 based in Rio de Janeiro has returned good results over the last few years.
The brand already present in South America and China is today represented in more than 65 countries on the five continents. The Group has developed a powerful network of about thirty Coswin software distributors throughout the world and particularly in Africa. The partnership between Siveco and the teams based in Africa is the fruit of twenty years exclusive collaboration.
Today Siveco is determined to increase market share and pursue efforts to reinforce International Partnership.
A ‘savoir-faire’ dedicated to innovation
On the ‘savoir-faire’ front, 2010 has been highlighted by winning more than 90 new client contracts and in some cases by the implementation of unique technological solutions such as the Alma Project in the field of astronomical observation; the DCNS Project in the naval and defence arena; a Project carried out for Carrefour and which will lead in time to the deployment of about 1000 sites. These success stories testify to the Group’s commitment over the last 25 years, in fields as varied as health, energy, defence, food processing, the car industry, industry and aeronautics…
Innovation is at the core of the Group’s strategy. Investments in research and development have allowed new major products to be brought to market. All advances since 1986 are follow precisely that path: an SaaS offering in the field of maintenance; a native internet architecture; innovative mobile solutions particularly for the portable phone; CMMS integration in Information Systems; tools for decision support; management of standards and trade issues…
The desire for innovation was also at the root of the M.tv launch. Siveco has chosen to promote collaborative development methods with a knowledge platform entirely dedicated to maintenance. The first original concept of this type for the transmission of knowledge and ‘savoir-faire’, M.tv has already been installed on several client sites.
There will be many more innovations registered by Siveco as it addresses challenges for the coming years: by pursuing growth and reasserting its leadership position in CMMS/EAM, by winning and running Projects that include new complementary expertise to its core business… |
