Interview with Olivier Salvatore, EveRé Maintenance Manager.

EveRé, a subsidiary of the Spanish group URBASER, is a multi-thread domestic waste treatment centre on an industrial scale.

Experts in waste recovery, EveRé provides public service tasks for Aix-Marseille Metropolis. A Modern site, benefiting from the best technologies

«The EveRé site is bound by a public service delegation contract with Aix-Marseille Provence Metropolis in order to recover and value domestic waste. The construction started in2006and was achieved in 2009.
The site is composed of three units: mechanical sorting unit, organic recovery unit and energy recovery unit. We receive a total of 400000 tons of waste each year, from which more than 90%are recovered. We have the advantage to progress on a recent site, provided with ultra-efficient machines. It was thus, natural from the start that we made the choice to become equipped with a CMMS solution. As a matter of fact, it was essential for us to benefit from a solution allowing us to simultaneously manage our purchase, stock and maintenance facilities. »

CMMS implementation as from the start at EveRé

« In 2009, we made a benchmark between several CMMS solution sin order to choose the most suitable tool for our activity. Our choice eventually fell with Coswin because its functionalities matched our issues perfectly. The best of the software is the graphic interface.
With more than 50 users of all trades, we needed a solution that is clear, intuitive and attractive.»

The project started in 2010, as soon as the EveRé site was in use.

Coswin, at the heart of the company

« Coswin has been deployed within our recovery centre for three reasons. First for logistics and purchases: From purchase requests to the project realisation. Since its implementation, we have counted more than 26000 orders (from consumable to machinery parts). The software has been set up so that each unit manager can validate their related orders in a few clicks. This saves us considerable time.

We then use Coswin to manage our stock. Today, we have more than 7800 stock references. Everything is semi automatically managed by the software. We have our suppliers and minimum stock pre-registered in the base…
Everything is traced, the purchase request is automated and then, each manager validates (or not) the request, allowing the generation of the orders.

Therefore, Coswin is a pillar of the maintenance for our site. Job requests on the different machines are managed by the operation department allowing our maintenance teams to take action as soon as possible. We also undertake regular maintenance of the equipment in order to prevent any dysfunction. In other words, without CMMS, we could not manage our site ! »

An evolution of the software in line with that of the recovery centre

To improve the strategic optimisation of the site, EveRé has always been provided with the latest Coswin versions. « Since 2010, our activity has evolved, as well as our Coswin use. That’s why we have always been equipped with Siveco Group’s latest versions. Coswin is at the heart of our company so we cannot have inadequate non-performing software.

We are greatly satisfied with our CMMS solution. All information is centralised in one place, thus saving time. Moreover, the Siveco Group team is very reactive and our relationship runs smoothly. »
